1. Assala Nassri - "El Hobb"

Assala Nassri tops this year's soundtracks with "El Hobb", from "La Totfea El Shams" series. The song explores different types of love and relationships between people, with a unique musical experience that was translated perfectly with Assala's voice, in a very competitive season, where many A-list stars lendt their voice to support the newest TV series.

As usual, once the holy month of Ramadan beginned, TV networks around the Arab World premiered the newest TV productions of the year, where tens of series are competing to attract viewers. Making the best original soundtracks with the biggest stars became a vital element in the Ramadan ratings.

 

2. Samira Said- "Ard Gaw"

Samira Said presents a hit material in "Ard Gaw" soundtrack. The dramatic song carries hard emotions of a disappointed women, and both the lyrics and the music give the feeling that this song is tailored for Samira.

 

3. Sherine Abdelwahab - "Halawet El Donia"

Sherine Abdelwahab experiments a new style of music with "Halawet El Donia" soundtrack. The song reflects the contrasts of life, and how happiness at times comes as a result of painful experiences. Sherine's sensual vocals add a touch of magic to the track.

 

4. Nassif Zeytoun - "Majbour"

Nassif Zeytoun presents himself in a different type of music with "Majbour", the soundtrack of "Al Hayba" series. The song shows off the wide range in Nassif's voice going from low to high.

 

5. Nawal El Zoghbi - "El Nas El Ozaz"

While Nawal lent her voice to two soundtracks this year, "El Nas El Ozaz" the sound track of "Le Aala Sear" is the better one between the two. The song has a great quality to it from the lyrics, composition and music production.

 

More and more A-list stars are realizing the importance of making a soundtrack for a series premiering in the hottest TV season of the year, not only for the huge exposure the song gets, but also because it gives the artist an opportunity to tell a story they usually don't go for in their studio albums.
